The Sweeping Process
Upon arrival a clean ground sheet is laid in the working area. Following an inspection of the chimney it is sealed with another dust sheet or sponge blocks ensuring that no soot or dust can leak into the room. Prior to sweeping an industrial vacuum nozzel is placed in to the opening and is left running throughout the sweeping process. The traditional sweeping process is then carried out using the brush method. When sweeping is complete final checks are made together with a smoke test before packing away.
